Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 23 July 2026
1. Company Information
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Construct365 platform and services operated by:
Construct365 Limited
Registered in England and Wales
Company Registration Number: 09805408
Registered office: 3 Brentwater Terrace, Westminster Road, London, W7 3FH
VAT Registration Number: GB 234 6814 05
Website: www.construct365.com
Email: legal@construct365.com
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy by reference. By using our platform you agree to all three documents.
2. Platform Overview
Construct365 operates as an online construction directory and resource hub for the UK construction industry. Our services include:
- A searchable company directory sourced from Companies House public data
- UK Construction League Tables ranked by financial data
- A job and work bulletin board for the construction sector
- Construction resources, guides, and events listings
- A suite of free construction tools (cost estimator, salary guide, materials cost guide, RFQ builder)
- An apps directory featuring third-party construction technology applications
- Premium company listing and advertising services
- Newsletter and email communication services
Where we act as an introducer between buyers and suppliers, we are acting as a platform only and are not party to any contract formed between users and third-party businesses.
2.1 Advertising, Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content
Construct365 is free to use and is funded in part by advertising, sponsored placements, and affiliate arrangements. This means that:
- Some links on our platform — for example on resource articles, tool reviews, and tool comparisons — are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and go on to buy a product or sign up for a service, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
- We accept paid and sponsored placements, including promoted listings, sponsored tool reviews and comparisons, banner advertising, and category sponsorships.
- Our editorial recommendations remain independent. An affiliate relationship or paid placement does not determine our opinion, rating, or verdict on any product or service, and is never a condition of favourable coverage.
- We clearly and prominently disclose affiliate and sponsored content wherever it appears, in line with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code) administered by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), and the Competition and Markets Authority's (CMA) consumer-protection rules under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA).
Full details are set out in our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure, which forms part of these Terms.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any applicable policies. If you are using our platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using our services immediately.
4. User Accounts and Registration
4.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You must promptly update this information if it changes.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@construct365.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
4.3 Age Requirement and Who Can Use the Platform
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase services. Our platform is designed primarily for construction businesses, but consumers (for example, homeowners using our free quote-request tool or purchasing a subscription for personal use) are welcome to use it. Where you use our platform or buy services as a consumer, you have the additional legal protections described in these Terms, including the cooling-off right in clause 5.2, and nothing in these Terms reduces your statutory rights.
4.4 Subscription Tiers
We offer different listing and advertising tiers with varying features and pricing. Details of current pricing are available on our Pricing page. Premium features require active payment.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Payments
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be charged at the applicable UK rate where required (our VAT registration number is GB 234 6814 05). Wherever consumers can buy on our platform, we also show the VAT-inclusive total before you commit to pay. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan until you cancel. Before each renewal we will send you a reminder email with the renewal date and how to cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
5.2 Right to Cancel — Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
Where you are purchasing a digital service as a consumer (i.e. not for business purposes), you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, beginning from the date your order is confirmed.
By requesting immediate access to a digital subscription or service, you expressly consent to the service beginning before the end of the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that your right to cancel will be lost once the service has been fully performed.
5.3 Refunds
Outside any statutory rights, refunds for paid subscriptions are considered on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of purchase. To request a refund, contact legal@construct365.com with your order details. We reserve the right to decline refund requests where services have been substantially used.
5.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails or is reversed, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to paid services until outstanding amounts are settled.
6. Company Directory and Data
6.1 Companies House Data
Company information on our platform is sourced from Companies House, which is public domain data. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of Companies House data and it should not be relied upon as a substitute for official Companies House searches.
6.2 Financial Data
Financial data in our League Tables is sourced from publicly filed accounts and is presented for general informational purposes only. It should not be used as financial advice or for credit assessment purposes.
6.3 Profile Claims
Businesses may claim their company profile by verifying their connection to the company. By claiming a profile, you confirm you are authorised to represent that company. You are responsible for ensuring any information you add or edit is accurate and not misleading.
7. Bulletin Board (Jobs and Work)
The bulletin board allows registered users to post work wanted and work offered notices. By posting, you confirm that:
- All information provided is accurate and not misleading
- You hold any qualifications or accreditations stated
- You will not use the board for commercial recruitment or unsolicited marketing
- Posts are subject to admin approval before publication
We reserve the right to reject or remove any post at our discretion without giving reasons.
8. User Content and Conduct
8.1 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any content you submit, including company listings, bulletin posts, reviews, and communications. You confirm that any content you submit is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe any third-party rights.
8.2 Licence to Use Your Content
By submitting content, you grant Construct365 Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and reproduce that content on our platform and in related marketing materials for as long as it remains on our platform.
8.3 Prohibited Uses
You must not use our platform to:
- Engage in any illegal activity or breach any applicable law or regulation
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Send spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or chain letters
- Infringe any intellectual property rights of any person or entity
- Impersonate any person or organisation, or falsely represent your affiliation
- Collect personal data about other users without their consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our platform or systems
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Engage in any conduct that could bring Construct365 into disrepute
9. Newsletter and Marketing Communications
Our newsletter and marketing email services are provided in compliance with UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). We will only send marketing communications where you have given your explicit consent or where we have a legitimate interest as permitted under PECR.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at legal@construct365.com. Transactional emails (such as order confirmations) are not subject to marketing consent requirements.
10. Intellectual Property
The Construct365 platform, including its design, branding, features, and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to Construct365 Limited and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of our platform without our prior written consent.
"Construct365" is a trading name. Our company data is sourced from Companies House, which is Crown copyright, published under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) as retained in UK law by the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, representations, and conditions, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that our platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful code. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information on our platform.
If you are a consumer, nothing in this clause 12 affects your statutory rights. In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including the rights to services performed with reasonable care and skill and to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described — or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Construct365 Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our platform.
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim; or (b) £100.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law
- Rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (where applicable)
14. Service Availability
We will use reasonable endeavours to make our platform available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend access for maintenance, upgrades, or other operational reasons. Where possible, we will give advance notice of planned downtime.
15. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or illegal conduct, or where we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to access our platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including clauses 8, 10, 12, 13, and 17.
16. Alternative Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve any disputes quickly and fairly. If you have a complaint, please contact us in the first instance at legal@construct365.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and endeavour to resolve it within 30 days.
If you are a consumer and we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may be entitled to use an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. Details of ADR providers approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute can be found at ctsi.org.uk.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or interim relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
18. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Construct365 Limited regarding your use of our platform.
19. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email or by prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using our platform.
