AI does the data entry. You do the takeoff.
A tender pack in — a draft takeoff out, ready for the estimator to check.
TakeoffAgent takes on the worst part of pricing a package from drawings: the transcription. It reads the tender pack and pulls out what is drawn — drainage runs, invert levels, gradients, kerb lines, edgings, areas — so you are not typing it in by hand. The model only reads the drawing; every length, area and quantity is computed in code, and each one traces back to where it came from on the sheet. What comes out is a draft, and it says so: you review every extraction on the drawing, correct anything it misread, and nothing goes into your bill of quantities without your sign-off. It measures the drawing — judgement about the ground, allowances and risk stays with you, where it belongs. Version one covers drainage and external works, with broader takeoff to follow.
What TakeoffAgent does
- Reads the tender pack — finds the right sheets and pulls the drawn detail off them
- Drainage and external works first — runs, diameters, invert levels, gradients, kerbs, edgings, areas
- The model reads, code computes — every quantity is calculated in code, never guessed by the model
- Everything traces back — each extracted item links to the exact spot on the drawing it came from
- You check every line — extractions are shown on the drawing for you to correct or approve
- A draft, and honest about it — the output is what was read off the drawing, for the estimator to check
Built for UK estimators, quantity surveyors and contractors who price from drawings. It measures the drawing — the judgement stays yours.
